county of SUFFOLK, 5 miles (N. by E.) from
Clare, containing 451 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £11. 9. 4., and
in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated
to All Saints.
