STUDLEY-ROGER, a township in that part of the
parish of RIPON which is in the lower division of the
wapentake of CLARO, West riding of the county of
YORK, 1 mile (W. S. W.) from Ripon, containing 144
inhabitants. It is within the peculiar jurisdiction of
the Archbishop of York.
