SUGLEY, a township in that part of the parish of
NEWBURN which is in the western division of CASTLE
ward, county of NORTHUMBERLAND, 3 miles (W.)
from Newcastle, containing 266 inhabitants. The extensive
manufactory termed the Tyne Iron Works is
within this township.
