SULLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of EAST-EASWRITH, rape of BRAMBER, county of SUSSEX, 5 miles (W. by N.) from Steyning, containing 287 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Chichester, rated in the king's books at £ 12. 17. 6., and in the patronage of the Rev. G. Palmer. The church, dedicated to St. Mary, is principally in the early style of English architecture.
