SUTTON, a parish in the hundred of HAPPING,
county of NORFOLK, 8 miles (E. N. B.) from Coltishall,
containing 317 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the-archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. 16. S.,
and in the patronage of the Earl of Abergavenny. The
church is dedicated to St. Michael.
