SUTTON-MONTIS, or MONTAGUE, a parish in
the hundred of CATSASH, county of SOMERSET, 5 miles
(S.) from Castle-Gary, containing 165 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Wells, and
diocese of Bath and Wells, rated in the king's books at
£6. 12. 1. R. Leach, Esq. was patron in 1825. The
church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
