THORNHAUGH, a parish in the liberty of PETERBOROUGH, county of NORTHAMPTON, 1 mile (N.) from Yansibrd, containing 266 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with the perpetual curacy of Wansford annexed, in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's books at £17. 1. 3., and in the patronage of the Duke of Bedford. The church, dedicated to St. Andrew, exhibits portions in the various styles of English architecture.
