THRIGBY, a parish in the eastern division of the hundred of FLEGG, county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (W.) from Caistor, containing 46 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. Thomas Brown, Esq. was patron in 1817. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
