THURLSTON, a parish within the liberty of IPSWICH,
county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (X.
N. W.) from Ipswich. The population is returned with
the parish of Whitton. The living is a rectory, annexed
to that of Whitton, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and
diocese of Norwich. The church is dedicated to St.
Botolph.
