THURSLEY, a parish in the second division of
the hundred of GODALMING, county of SURREY, 55
miles (S. W. by W.) from Godalming, containing 608
inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy an-
nexed to the vicarage of Witley, in the archdeaconry
of Surrey, and diocese of Winchester. The church is
dedicated to St. Michael.
