THUXTON, a parish in the hundred of MITFORD,
county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (N. by E.) from Hingham,
containing 78 inhabitants.  The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £4. 6. 3., and in
the patronage of the Bishop of Norwich. The church
is dedicated to St. Paul.
