TOFT (TREES), a parish in the hundred of GALLOW,
county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (S. W.) from Fakenham,
containing 87 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £7. 18. 6., endowed with
£600 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Marquis
Townshend. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
