TOLLERTON, a parish in the southern division
of the wapentake of BINGHAM, county of NOTTINGHAM,
4 miles (S. E. by S.) from Nottingham, containing 153
inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Nottingham, and diocese of York, rated in
the king's books at £15. 9. 4., and in the patronage
of Pendock Barry, Esq. The church, dedicated to St.
Peter, is a small structure, with a tower surmounted
by eight pinnacles with vanes -. the interior is peculiarly
neat, though not pewed.
