TYTHERLEY, otherwise TUDERLEY (WEST), a
parish in the hundred of THORNGATE, Andover division
of the county of SOUTHAMPTON, 7 miles (S. W. by W.)
from Stockbridge, containing 494 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Winchester, rated in the king's books at £8. 5.10., and
in the-patronage of C. B. Wall, Esq. This parish is
within the jurisdiction of the Cheyney Court held at
Winchester every Thursday, for the recovery of debts
to any amount.
