WACTON (PARVA), a parish in the hundred of
DEPWADE, county of NORFOLK, 1 mile (S. W.) from
St. Mary Stratton. The living is a discharged sinecure
rectory, annexed to that of Wacton Magna, in the archdeaconry
of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in
the king's books at £2. 13. 4. The church, which was
dedicated to St. Mary, is in ruins.
