WALCOTT, a parish in the hundred of HAPPING, county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (E. by N.) from North Walsham, containing 132 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £30, endowed with £400 royal bounty, and £200 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of the Bishop of Norwich. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
