WALLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of CLACKCLOSE, county of NORFOLK, 3 miles (N. by E.) from Downham-Market, containing, with the hamlet of Thorpland, 72 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with Holme and South Runcton annexed, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, and in the patronage of - Bell, Esq. The church, now in ruins, was dedicated to St. Margaret.
