of RUNCORN, hundred of BUCKLOW, county palatine
of CHESTER, 2 miles (S.) from Warrington, containing
353 inhabitants. The Mersey and Ir-well canal pas ses
in the vicinity. A school is supported by subscriptions
amounting to about £7 per annum.
