WANBOROUGH, a parish in the hundred of
KINGSBRIDGE, county of WILTS, 3 miles (E. by S.) from
Swindon, containing 90S inhabitants. The living is a
vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Surrey, and diocese of
Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £21.10.7\., and
in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Winchester.
The church is dedicated to St. Andrew. There is
a place of worship forWesleyan Methodists.
