WARDINGTON, a chapelry in that part of the parish
of CROPREDY which is in the hundred of BANBURY,
county of OXFORD, 5 miles (N. E. by N.) from Banbury,
containing, with the hamlets of Coton and Willscott,
S25 inhabitants. The chapel is dedicated to St. Mary
Magdalene. This chapelry is in the jurisdiction of the
peculiar court of Banbury in the Cathedral Church of
Lincoln.
