WARLINGHAM, a parish in the second division of the hundred of TANDRIDGE, county of SURREY, 4 miles (S. S.E.) from Croydon, containing 421 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, with the perpetual curacy of Chelsham annexed, in the archdeaconry of Surrey, and diocese of Winchester, rated in the king's books at £11. 12. 11., and in the patronage of A.W.Wigzell, Esq. The church, dedicated to All Saints, is principally in the early style of English architecture.
