of ROTHLEY which is in the, eastern division of the
kindred of GOSCOTE, county of LEICESTER, 4 miles
(N.) from Melton-Mowbray, containing 90 inhabitants.
It is in the jurisdiction of the peculiar court of
the lord of the manor of Rothley. The chapel is dedicated
to St. Michael.
