WATTISHAM, a parish in the hundred of COSFORD,
county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (N.E.) from Bildeston,
containing 193 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
euracyj in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese of
Norwich, and in the patronage of the Provost and
Fellows of King's College, Cambridge. The church is
dedicated to St. Nicholas. There is a place of worship
for Baptists.
