WENN (ST.), a parish in the hundred of PYDER,
county of CORNWALL, 4 miles (N.E. by E.) from St.
Columb-Major, containing 589 inhabitants. The living is
a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese
of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £16. 6. 8.
P. Rashleigh, Esq. was patron in 1810. At Tregonetha,
in this parish, are fairs for cattle on April 25th and
August 1st.
