county of HERTFORD, 1 mile (S. by E.) from Buntingford,
containing 415 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry of Huntingdon, and diocese
of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £20, and in
the patronage of the Earl of Hardwicke. The church
is dedicated to St. Mary.
