county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (S.) from Beccles, containing
179 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £13. 6. 8., and
in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated
to St. Peter.
