WEST-VILLE, a township in the western division of the soke of BOLINGBROKE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, containing 102 inhabitants. This township, with six others, is not dependent on any parish, and was created such by act of parliament, in 1812, on the occasion of a very extensive drainage of Wildmore, and the East and West Fens; the inhabitants attend the chapel at Carri gton, which was consecrated in 1818.
