WESTWICK, a parish in the hundred of TUNSTEAD, county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (S.) from North Walsham, containing 182 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £9. 13. 9., endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of J. Petre, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Botolph. At a short distance from Westwick House is an obelisk, ninety feet high, with a neat room at the top, commanding beautiful and extensive views of the sea-coast on one hand, and of a richly1 diversified country on the other.
