The living is a discharged perpetual curacy, in the peculiar jurisdiction of the Chancellor of the Cathedral Church of Worcester . rated in the king's books at £2. 4. 4., endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Dean and Canons of Christ Church, Oxford. The church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. Limestone in abundance is obtained in the neighbourhood.
