WIGGENHALL (ST-GERMANS), a parish in the
Marshland division of the hundred of FREEBRIDGE,
county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (S. S. W.} from Lynn-
Regis, containing 584 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £,6, endowed with
£200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Dean
and Chapter of Norwich. The church is situated on
the east bank of the Ouse.
