WILLINGHAM, a parish in the wapentake of WELL,
parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 6 miles (S. B.)
from Gainsborough, containing 292 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £18. 6. 8., and
in the patronage of the Heirs of the late Rev. R. Wells.
The church is dedicated to St. Helen. There is a place
of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
