WILLINGHAM (CHERRY), a parish in the wapentake of LAWRESS, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 4 miles (B. by N.) from Lincoln, containing 89 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the' archdeaconry of Stow, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £6. 13. 4., endowed with £600 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Messrs Ellis. The church is dedicated to St. Peter. The parish is bounded on the south by the river Witham.
