WOODBASTWICK, a parish in the hundred of WALSHAM, county of NORFOLK, 5 J miles (N. W.) from Acle, containing 236 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, with the rectory of Panxworth annexed, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6, and in the patronage of John Cator, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Fabian and St. Sebastian; the steeple was built about 1518.
