WORLINGHAM, a parish in the hundred of WANGFORD, county of SUFFOLK, 1 mile (S. B. byS.) from Beccles, containing 221 inhabitants. The living-is a rectory, with that of Worlingham Parva annexed, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £ 12, and in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated to All Saints; that of Worlingham Parva, which was dedicated to St. Peter, has been demolished. The navigable river Waveney runs on the northern side of the parish.
