YAXHAM, a parish in the hundred of MITFORD,
county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (S. EbyS.) from East
Dereham, containing 505 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, with that of Weborne annexed, in the archdeaconry
of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the
king's books at £ 10. 0. 10., and in the patronage of
Mrs. Bodham. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
