YELVERTON, a parish in the hundred of HENSTEAD,
county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (s. EbyS.) from
Norwich, containing 79 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £10,
and in the patronage of the Crown. The church, dedicated
to St. Mary, has a Norman font with later enrichments.
