STALEEN, a hamlet, in the parish of DONORE,
barony of LOWER-DULEEK, county of MEATH, and province
of LEINSTER, 2¼ miles (W. S. W.) from Drogheda,
on the road to Navan; containing 20 houses and 88
inhabitants. It is the property of Wm, Sharman Crawford,
Esq., who has a house here in which he occasionally
resides.
