CAUSEWAYHEAD, a village, in the parish of
LoGiE, counties of Clackmannan and Stirling, 1
mile (N. by E.) from Stirling. It takes its name from
its situation, being the head of the long causeway of
Stirling. In the neighbourhood is a sandstone quarry,
the material of which is used for ordinary purposes.
