CRAIGIE, a village, in the parish of East-Perth in the city of Perth, county of Perth; containing 219 inhabitants. It is situated on the west side of the river Tay, and a little south of the city, of which it forms a suburb. Craigie is a pleasant village, and in its vicinity is the site of the old castle of Craigie, which belonged to the Ross family.
