FERNIGAIR, a hamlet, in the parish of Hamilton,
Middle ward of the county of Lanark, 1 mile
(S. E. by E.) from Hamilton; containing 74 inhabitants.
It is situated in the eastern part of the parish, and on
the turnpike-road from Hamilton to Larkhall: the Clyde
flows at a short distance from the village.
