GREENLOANING, a village, in the parish of Dunblane,
county of Perth, 5 miles (N. E. by N.) from
Dunblane; containing 58 inhabitants. It is situated in
the north-east part of the parish, and on the east bank
of the river Allan: there is a place of worship for the
United Presbyterian Synod; and the Scottish Central
railway, opened in 1848, has a station here.
