MARTIN, an island, in the parish of Lochbroom,
county of Ross-and-Cromarty; containing 45 inhabitants.
This is a small island, situated in Loch Broom,
on the western coast of the county, and close to the
main land of the parish, from which it is separated by a
narrow channel. It is about five miles north-north-west
from the village of Ullapool.
