MUNLOCHY, a village, in the parish of Knockbain, county of Ross-and-Cromarty, 7 miles (S. W. by W.) from Fortrose; containing S5 inhabitants. This village is situated on the north coast of the Moray Firth, on a small bay of the same name, and on the road from Killearnan to Fortrose. It is a fishing-village, around which considerable improvements have latterly been made by the proprietor of the land.
