OPSAY, an isle, in the parish of Harris, county of
Inverness. It is one of the small islands of the Hebrides,
lying in the sound of Harris, between Hermitray and
Bernera; and is distant northward about three miles
from the main land of North Uist. The isle is very
small, and uninhabited.
