WILKISTON, a village, in the parish of KirknewTON,
county of Edinburgh, If mile (E. by S.) from the
village of Kirknewton; containing 81 inhabitants. This
is a small place, lying in the eastern part of the parish,
and on the north side of the Glasgow road, near the
ninth milestone from Edinburgh.
