BLAEN-HONDDAN, a hamlet, in the parish of CADOXTON, hundred of NEATH, county of GLAMORGAN, SOUTH WALES, 1 mile (N.) from Neath, containing 1029 inhabitants. It is pleasantly situated on the western bank of the river Neath, in the midst of agreeably diversified scenery, and is intersected by the turnpike road leading from Neath, through the vale, into Brecknockshire: it contains the parochial church.
