miles (N. W. by W.) from Ruabon, containing, with the township of Dynhynlla Uchav, 3566 inhabitants. It is situated in the
western and more elevated portion of the parish, where there are some extensive and valuable mines of coal, in which the
principal portion of the population is employed.
