EYTON, a township, in that part of the parish of BANGOR which is in the hundred of BROMFIELD, county of DENBIGH, NORTH WALES, 3 miles (S. by E.) from Wrexham, containing 303 inhabitants, who are almost exclusively employed in agriculture. It is situated near the road from Wrexham to Overton, on the left bank of the river Dee, and contains two respectable mansions pleasantly situated. It is separately assessed for the maintenance of its poor, the average annual expenditure amounting to 4149. 19.
