SUTTON, a township, in the parochial chapelry of Is-v-COED, union of WREXHAM, hundred of BROMFIELD, county of DENBIGH, NORTH WALES, 5 miles (E. by S.) from Wrexham; containing 203 inhabitants. It is situated on the' left bank of the river Dee, near the place where it receives a stream from the westward; and its rateable annual value is returned at £1674. Here is a day school, in which about 20 children are educated at the expense of their parents.
