TREBRYS (TREV-BRYS), a township, in that part of the parish of YSPYTTY-IVAN which is in the hundred of ISALED, union of LLANRWST, county of DENBIGH, NORTH WALES; containing 150 inhabitants. This township, which is sometimes called Preen Uchfi, lies near the head of the river Clettwr, on the border of Merionethshire, in a mountainous district, and on the road from Corwen to Llanrsett. Its rateable annual value is returned at. £450. A Sunday school is held in a meeting-house of Independents, in which. about aixty or seventy males and females assemble to instruct -each other:in reading the Bible in their native language.
